Hi, I’m SoftDeveloper23. As a solo independent developer building apps under the softDev23 brand, I believe you have an absolute right to privacy. I don’t build apps to collect or sell your data. I build products that solve real problems, which is why my products are designed with privacy at their core.

This privacy policy outlines how our applications and website handle information. Because we build **privacy-first, offline-first software**, we process the bare minimum data required to run our applications.

1. No Accounts or Email Requirements

None of our apps (including Habitual, Think Drink, or Mana) require you to register an account, set up a password, or input your email address. You simply download the app and begin using it immediately. Your progress, metrics, and profiles are entirely yours.

2. On-Device Storage & Secure iCloud Sync

Your database stays in your hands:

  • Offline-First Storage: All habits, logs, focus sessions, and items are stored locally on your device using Apple’s modern SwiftData persistence.
  • End-to-End Encrypted Backups: If you choose to enable iCloud syncing (via CloudKit), your database is backed up securely to your private personal iCloud container. It is stored in Apple’s end-to-end encrypted Private Database container. We (softDev23) have absolutely zero access to this data.

3. Application-Specific Data Policies

🧭 Habitual: The Grand Journey

Habitual is a productivity habit RPG. To support subscription checks, we use RevenueCat to securely validate Apple App Store receipts using a non-identifying, system-generated anonymous user ID. To optimize game balance and encounters, we collect anonymized, hashed usage markers via TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) or IP addresses.

💧 Think Drink

Think Drink is a visual hydration companion. To respect your privacy, it stores all water logging events exclusively on your local device. It collects no analytics, contains no third-party tracking libraries, and performs zero data collection.

⚡ Mana

Mana is a sci-fi focus timer. All focus logs, statistics, and customization configurations are stored locally on your device. There is no tracking code, no third-party analytics, and no remote server communication.

4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because we do not collect your name, email, physical location, or IP addresses, we have no identifiable records to delete, edit, or share. You have complete control of your data. If you wish to delete all records from any of our apps, simply delete the app from your device, which wipes the local container entirely.
