Habitual: The Grand Journey

Welcome to Habitual: The Grand Journey (the “Application”), a gamified habit-tracking RPG. By downloading, accessing, or using this application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.
1. License & Usage Rules
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use this Application strictly on Apple-branded mobile devices in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms. Because Habitual relies on local data structures and a gamified experience, you agree that you will not:
- Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Application’s package.
- Exploit, manipulate, or rewrite the local SwiftData persistence container to artificially gain Distance, Relics, Levels, or Items.
- Distribute, sell, or license any of our custom graphics, 2D biomes maps, companion art, or items designs.
2. In-App Subscriptions (Habitual PRO)
Habitual offers custom gameplay features and premium biomes maps under our **Habitual PRO** monthly and annual subscription options.
- Apple Billing: All transactions are securely handled directly by the Apple App Store. Billing is charged to your iTunes/Apple account upon confirmation.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your auto-renewing subscriptions at any time through your iPhone’s App Store Account settings.
- Downgrades: If you cancel your PRO subscription, excess habits will lock gracefully without data loss, allowing you to reactivate them if you renew.
3. Intellectual Property
The Application’s code, visual design, custom UI components, illustrations, character avatars, item card designs, biome lore writing, and the specific gamification framework are the exclusive property of softDev23. You have no rights to use these proprietary assets outside of standard gameplay.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” While we build natively using modern frameworks (SwiftUI/SwiftData) to guarantee lightweight battery optimization and local memory efficiency, we do not warrant that the Application will be completely uninterrupted or entirely free of errors. Backups are stored inside your private Apple iCloud container, and softDev23 is not responsible for data loss due to local hardware failures or iCloud sync limits.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, softDev23 and its founder shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Application.
